Thrifty-Link Hardware Testimonials

This is what some of our current members have to say about us...

After operating for 10 years as an Independent IPC store with Danks as the Berry Hardware store and Heads Hardware (at Shoalhaven Heads), we were offered the opportunity to become a Thrifty-Link Hardware store.

Since joining the Thrifty-Link Hardware group in September 2007 we have found the association to be beneficial in the following ways:

  • Positive customer recognition of the ´Thrifty-Link Hardware´ name.  This has been particularly noticeable at the Shoalhaven Heads store with customer perception that as a group "we must be cheaper" than an independent store.  Painting the exterior of the Berry Hardware store in Thrifty-Link Hardware colours has also resulted in travellers who were not aware that here was a hardware store in Berry becoming new customers.
  • Catalogues have been a positive factor in more recognition of the two stores.
  • Catalogues and the associated sales have resulted in a positive customer attitude and a take up of items promoted in the sales.
  • There has been a rub off with customers from other areas coming to the stores to pick up sales items.

The introduction to the Thrifty-Link Hardware group has been fairly painless.  As we become more accustomed to the catalogue sales and the forward ordering requirements, we expect the association to become even more beneficial.
